(Genshin Impact)
Learn to make your own Ayaka cosplay! ⤵
This DIGITAL DOWNLOAD pack includes a tutorial PDF and patterns to teach you how to make your own Ayaka cosplay from Genshin Impact! This full pack includes:
53 page PDF tutorial
Sewing patterns (jacket)
Armour patterns (breastplate + bracers + hip plates)
3D printing STL files (ALL costume accessories, including vision)
SVG files for heat transfer vinyl costume details (skirt + back bow + jacket + armour)
HD fabric printing PNGs (skirt* + back bow)
Resource spreadsheet, including recommendations + links for all the materials you’ll need to make this costume
NOTE: The outfit patterns were patterned based on my own measurements (size XS/UK 6) and may need to be resized. These can be altered to fit your own size (there are many videos on YouTube for how to scale sewing patterns) or can hopefully act as a visual guide if you wish to draft your own patterns from scratch.
*The skirt pattern printing PNGs come with a calculator to allow you to pattern them to your own measurements! The skirt is a pleated circle skirt, so you only need to input your waist measurement.

Patterns, 3D printing files and more are also available, and can either be purchased separately or in a complete bundle.
This bundle includes STL 3D printing files for the Mistsplitter Reforged sword from Genshin Impact, as well as a 10 page PDF assembly guide!
The model consists of 10 individual pieces. The model files are already split, with the maximum height of one piece measuring 224mm tall; this fits within the Z-axis height of most 3D printers. The blade and handle each have a 10mm diameter wooden dowel running along their full length. Additionally, there are shorter 6mm diameter wooden dowels throughout where the individual pieces join. The overall length of the finished sword is 1.13m.
The assembly guide PDF also includes printer setting recommendations, my recommended priming process and an explanation of how I painted this sword.
Costume Details
Ayaka was another Genshin character that I knew I wanted to make straight away. Genshin designs are very lacking in armour which is something I do quite enjoy making, so I was very excited when I first saw her design!
The trickiest part was actually her skirt and back bow. I had to design custom-printed fabric, but since the skirt is pleated and flared this involved pattern-matching a pleated circle. If you’ve ever made a similar garment you’ll know that isn’t easy! I actually ended up remaking her entire skirt twice, but my second attempt was finally a success. I also layered heat transfer vinyl on top of the printed fabric to give it more depth.
All of the armour was made from EVA foam, primed and painted with HexFlex from Poly-Props.
This cosplay was the first one I made after buying my own resin printer, and I can’t recommend one enough for making small details! It was during this costume that I also perfected my method of making Genshin Impact visions (hint: check out my tutorial for a full description of how I did it!).
