Bloom Enchantix Cosplay Guide - Costume [Tutorial + Patterns Pack]
£12.00

This DIGITAL DOWNLOAD pack includes a tutorial PDF and patterns to teach you how to make your own Bloom Enchantix costume from Winx Club! This pack includes:

  • 36 page PDF tutorial (covering every part of the costume & wig, except the wings)

  • Dress sewing pattern PDF

  • 2 additional WIP videos

NOTE: The dress was patterned based on my own measurements (size XS/UK 6) and may need to be resized. It can be altered to fit your own size (there are many videos on YouTube for how to scale sewing patterns) or can hopefully act as a visual guide if you wish to draft your own patterns from scratch.

The finished dress has an underbust circumference of 64.3cm and length (collar to hem) of 75cm.

The accessory STLs are not included, and were purchased externally from here.

A separate tutorial/patterns pack is available for the wings, or can be purchased alongside this pack in a bundle.

Costume Details

After having Bloom’s Enchantix version on my cosplans list for forever, I decided it was time to finally tackle one of my dream costumes!
The dress consists primarily of 3 tiers of iridescent organza, each a slightly different shade of blue/green. Each layer was airbrushed to create a gradient, then hemmed with fishing line and metallic thread to create those magical ruffles. I also added various colours/sizes of AB rhinestones which, combined with the metallic lurex base fabric, give the perfect amount of sparkle.

The wings themselves were also a huge challenge! I wanted them to be a lot more sturdy than my previous Bloom wings, and so I invested in designing an aluminium frame which I had laser cut. Then, I layered various types of automotive vinyl; this was a big learning curve as it must be applied very carefully to avoid bubbles. In the end, the wings ended up being heavier than I would have liked and are really only suitable for wearing for short periods during photoshoots, but visually they turned out exactly as I had hoped!
