The tutorial also includes a guide to how I made her Silence Glaive, which I also have 3D printing STL files available for.
This tutorial is heavily inspired by the work of Cosmic Coterie, who also create in-depth tutorials for sailor scout cosplays. You can find their work at https://cosmiccoterie.com/, and I would highly recommend checking it out!

Costume Details
I didn’t get into Sailor Moon until a later age than most, however as soon as I saw Saturn she instantly became my favourite scout and I just knew I had to cosplay her! There are many incredible cosplay resources within the Sailor Moon community already, and these helped me immensely with figuring it which construction methods to use. The following creators in particular helped me the most through their own WIP posts/tutorials:
The construction methods I ended up using in the end were an amalgamation of those gathered from the Sailor Moon cosplayers mentioned above, with a few of my own tweaks such as using foam dowels for the glove rolls! I also drafted all of my own patterns.
I 3D modelled her Silence Glaive in Fusion360 which I then 3D printed. This was my first time making a fully 3D printed prop of this size, so creating a secure way of connecting the individual parts was a big challenge. I’ve actually had to remake the whole thing 3 times now due to it breaking at various points, but I finally came up with a solid design in the end!
