Make your own Aquila Favonia sword & Keqing vision! ⤵
This listing is for the 3D printing files for the gorgeous Aquila Favonia sword from Genshin Impact! Please note that these are DIGITAL files only - you will NOT receive a physical product.
The model comes pre-sliced to fit onto a 20cm x 20cm x 20cm (minimum) printer bed size. It is split into 11 individual pieces, and the overall length of the final sword measures approximately 1.15m. The full unsplit model is also now included with the files.
The model is designed for a 6mm diameter metal rod, length of 90mm, to run through the hilt/handle to provide strength. The hilt/wings are also designed to fit together using 6mm wooden dowels, length of 4mm each.
Once printed this sword is VERY fragile, so I would highly recommend including the metal rod as well as coating the whole sword in XTC-3D during priming.
This listing is for the 3D printing files for the Liyue vision from Genshin Impact. Please note that these are DIGITAL files only - you will NOT receive a physical product.
Includes:
- STL files for the vision casing (single + double sided)
- STL file for the vision gem
- SVG files for all 7 element symbols*
*Note: I recommend making a mould of the gem and casting it in resin, then using holographic/metallic card for the element symbol. This process is explained in my Ayaka & Nilou tutorial PDFs.
The vision casing includes a small hole at the top to allow a 10mm x 1mm jump ring to be inserted. The full vision measures approximately 74mm wide and 74mm tall.
Costume Details
Since Keqing is almost entirely purple, of course I wanted to cosplay her! I wasn’t particularly interested in making her outfit however, so I decided to purchase a premade version from Doki Doki Cosplay. Thankfully, the only part I needed to replace was the vision, however the original one was still quite good quality.
Keqing doesn’t have a signature weapon in Genshin Impact so I chose my favourite sword instead- Aquila Favonia. This was by far the most complicated 3D model I’ve ever done, and it was very tricky to print too. It’s also very fragile so I haven’t used it for a location shoot yet!
I wasn’t unable to wear/shoot this cosplay to a convention until October 2021 due to the pandemic. By this point I had already made my Ayaka cosplay, so I decided to use Ayaka’s sword (Mistsplitter Reforged) instead, since it fit Keqing’s colour scheme much better.
