This bundle includes STL 3D printing files for the Sailor Neptune’s Deep Aqua Mirror from Sailor Moon, as well as a 9 page PDF assembly guide!
The 3D model has been split as shown in the product image, and an unsplit version of the gold mirror body is included also. You will also require:
15cm x 10cm oval mirror plate
6mm diameter wooden dowels x 2
The finished mirror length is approximately 28cm.
The assembly guide PDF also includes a full list of recommended materials.
Costume Details
This cosplay followed much of the same construction process as my Sailor Saturn cosplay, with a few refinements to the patterning.
The main difference was the prop, which was resin printed. To reduce weight, I moulded then cast the teal backing from Smooth-Cast 300. The metallic colour was created by brushing chrome powder into the mould before pouring in the casting materials, which turned out great!
Due to its comfort, this costume is a favourite of mine to wear to conventions when I’m guesting!
